Terms and Conditions

        All users of mydoc.lk are deemed to have read and accepted the terms and conditions set out in this document.

        When making appointments using the website, mobile app, or partners, all terms and conditions stated below are applicable.

        All deals and promotions may be extended or discontinued by myDoc.lk at any time and without previous notice.

        Upon registering with myDoc.lk, all customers hereby consent to the display of promotional materials and content.

        In the event of fraud or misconduct, myDoc.lk alone has the ability to terminate customer accounts without prior notification.

        Under no circumstances may myDoc.lk be liable for, among other things, the calibre, exactness, thoroughness, worth, or integrity of the doctor's recommendations.

        MyDoc.lk disclaims all liability and responsibility for the following: All medical services given through myDoc.lk, including but not limited to hospital, doctor, and/or other healthcare professional diagnosis, prescription, and other medical advice;  If the customer has not signed up for NSR Service, any reimbursements for cancellations made by the hospital, doctor, or patient as well as for patient no-shows will not be given. Customers should communicate directly with the relevant hospital regarding any modifications to the planned appointments as myDoc.lk has no influence over such matters. If the customer has not selected the No Show Refund service, the myDoc.lk service charge is not refundable in any of the aforementioned situations.

        Customers are accountable for the correctness of any personal information they supply to myDoc.lk in order to make an appointment.

        These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, at myDoc.lk's discretion.

        Nothing in this document, whether expressly stated or impliedly interpreted, is meant to grant anyone any rights or remedies against myDoc.lk other than the customer.

 

Pricing terms and condition

        Users can access a variety of services through a "pay per use" facility, including lab services, audio/video consultations with doctors, and medicine delivery.

        Registration is free for users who use myDoc.lk's services and may be done on both the website and the mobile application. Those who have enrolled on the website or app will have access to free online storage of their medical records that they can see and amend as needed.

        You will need to pay the charge set forth by myDoc.lk nonetheless.

        Mydoc.lk retains the right to modify the mydoc.lk service fee at any time and at its sole discretion without providing the customer with prior notice. On its website, mydoc.lk may post updates to the service cost.

 

        All taxes and levies that apply to the services that the customer uses must be paid by the customer.

 

Registered Customers Terms and Condition   

        All consumers who successfully complete the myDoc.lk sign-up process will be regarded as myDoc.lk registered customers.

        After registering, the user assumes full responsibility for the user ID, password, and any actions taken on myDoc.lk while logged in with that user ID.

        The user must always keep their user ID and password confidential.

        By using the user ID, we can determine whether a user is accessing the website and using the services. Because of this, the user is liable for any illegal access made using his or her User ID, as well as any claims that result from or are related to such use.

        If you're registering as a company, you guarantee that you are able to bind the organization to this User Agreement.

        You consent to immediately alert myDoc.lk of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security lapse. MyDoc.lk disclaims any responsibility for any loss you could suffer as a result of someone else accessing your account or password, whether they did so knowingly or not. In the event that someone else uses your account or password, you could be held responsible for any losses suffered by myDoc.lk or another party.

 

Doctor Channelling Terms and Condition

        By accepting below, all customers consent to filling out all fields on the myDoc.lk appointment form.

        When all of the following payments have been made and accepted, a customer's appointment will be confirmed.

o Doctor's fees o Hospital fees o Service fees from myDoc.lk as well as all applicable taxes and fees.

        Customers must pay the balance for all reserved appointments 30 minutes before the appointment time.

        Reservations that have not received the entire payment as mentioned above will be canceled 30 minutes before the planned appointment.

        When customers arrive for their planned appointment, they must give the hospital the booking reference number.

        The appointment times that myDoc.lk gives its customers is an estimate that may change due to events beyond myDoc.lk's control.

        When making an appointment, the customer must supply an email address in order to obtain digital receipts. The customer also has the option to obtain digital receipts or access the "My Bookings" section of the website or mobile app. 

Audio/Video Consultation Service Terms and Condition

        The sole duty of myDoc.lk is to establish a connection between the customer and the medical professional in order to begin an audio/video consultation session.

        The audio/video consultation session shall not be confirmed until the customer’s payment is accepted by the system and confirmed to the customer. The audio/video consultation session shall be confirmed upon the complete payment of the medical professional’s charge, the myDoc.lk service charge, and all government taxes and levies applicable to the audio/video consultation service.

        In order to have a successful audio/video consultation session, the customer is responsible for having the required technical capability, equipment, and connectivity at the time of the appointment.

        The medical professional is free to accept or reject the appointments made by the clients. If a medical professional declines the appointment, myDoc.lk will reimburse the customer for the full amount paid.

        The customer's unavailability or inability to accept the voice or video call at the time of the audio or video consultation session is not the fault of myDoc.lk or the medical professional.

        The scheduled audio/video consultation session will cease if the customer is unable to finish it because of technical difficulties on their end and is unable to connect the voice/video conversation within the allotted time frame. The customer won't be eligible for a refund in this situation.

        The customer hereby commits to always act professionally when speaking with the medical professional and to refrain from using any profane, inappropriate, abusive, or obscene language.

        Delays by the Medical Professional: In the event of delays by the Medical Professional, myDoc.lk shall not be liable and will not provide a refund or cancel the appointment.

        If the medical professional cancels the audio/video consultation session, myDoc.lk will make arrangements for refunds or to reschedule the consultation at the medical professional's discretion.

        MyDoc.lk disclaims all responsibility for any advice given to the customer by the medical professional.

        The Audio/Video Consultation Service is not a replacement for or an alternative to a physical consultation; it is merely a pre/post consultation service.

        The client hereby grants myDoc.lk permission to supply the medical professional with the personal information the client has submitted, upon request. In order to support a successful audio/video consultation session, myDoc.lk will give the medical professional the customer's personal information at the medical professional's request.

        By accepting this agreement, the customer promises not to utilize the audio/video consultation service in an emergency.

        Under no circumstances will myDoc.lk give the customer access to a medical professional's personal information.

        MyDoc.lk is only responsible for offering technical support to complete the audio/video consultation session; it is not accountable for the session's progress. This is largely dependent on the customer and the medical professional. 

        The customer must supply an email address when scheduling the audio/video consultation session via the website or mobile app in order to receive digital receipts. As an alternative, the customer may request or go to the "My Bookings" section of the myDoc.lk website or mobile app.

        At any time, myDoc.lk retains the right to modify these terms and conditions.

 

Refund Terms and Condition

        Customers will only qualify for the stipulated refunds if they selected our service when making appointments through myDoc.lk.

        If a medical professional or hospital cancels an appointment, or if the customer is unable to attend the appointment at the appointed time, customers who have subscribed to the service will be eligible to request refunds under the refund service.

        Customers who qualify for a refund should submit their claims before the session's planned start time.

        After receiving an accurate refund request from any local banks, myDoc.lk will arrange refunds within five (05) business days. Please be aware that this timeframe is valid from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on business days.

        Customers can file refund requests through the mobile app or website of myDoc.lk or by calling the hotline at 011 0000000.

        Every service there is no return for the fee. However, only the following elements of the fees gathered by myDoc.lk will receive refunds:

o   hospital fees o Doctor fees o Taxes and levies that apply to hospital and doctor visits o myDoc.lk Service fees

o   Service Fee for Continuous Number (If Applicable)

        To process the refund, customers have to provide accurate information, including but not limited to bank account information.

        Every refund request is subject to myDoc.lk's verification process.

        All refunds to customers will only be arranged as cash deposits into their bank accounts or as bill payments that was used to make the appointment.

 

Ongoing Number Service Terms and Condition

        The customer is required to open the 'My Bookings' section of the website or mobile app in order to view the current number.

        The correctness of the current number displayed on the website or mobile app is not under the control of myDoc.lk. The information submitted into the system by the hospital throughout the session will determine how accurate and comprehensive the continuing number is.

 

        The 'My Bookings' section of the website or mobile app allows customers to check the current number a maximum of 20 times while the session is still in progress.

        Except in cases where the customer has agreed to the refund terms and conditions, the charge for the ongoing number service is not refundable.

        The ongoing number service may be provided free of charge to all customers accessing the website and the mobile app during promotional times, which will be disclosed to the customers.

 

Usage Terms and Condition

        Only those who are legally able to enter into contracts in Sri Lanka may use mydoc.lk.

        It is not allowed for anybody to use mydoc.lk that does not have the legal competence to enter into contracts in Sri Lanka.

        We reserve the right to deny access or services to anybody who lacks the legal capacity to enter into a contract under Sri Lankan law and to terminate that person's account.

        If you're registering as a company, you guarantee that you are able to bind the organization to this User Agreement.

 

Medicine Delivery Terms and Condition

The medication is distributed in collaboration with pharmacies and other healthcare providers registered on the myDoc.lk mobile app. As a result, while placing a medicine order, customers are responsible for the terms and conditions of the different pharmacy partners.

MyDoc.lk will not be responsible for any delays in the delivery of the goods.

        Because myDoc.lk is not the supplier of such medical products and services, it assumes no liability for the quality of the goods and services offered by the service establishments involved.

        Because myDoc.lk solely connects consumers with individual pharmacies, it bears no liability for delivery charges or the price of the drug.

        It is always suggested to supply a valid prescription for medication orders, and myDoc.lk accepts no responsibility for verifying prescriptions sent by clients.

 

Mobile lab & Online Lab Reports Terms and Condition

The mobile lab service and online lab report are provided in collaboration with laboratory partners mentioned in the myDoc.lk mobile app. When requesting a lab test or mobile lab, clients are responsible for the terms and conditions of the individual laboratory partners.

 

 

MyDoc.lk shall not be responsible for any delays in mobile lab service.

        Because myDoc.lk is not the provider of such laboratory services, it assumes no obligation for the quality of mobile labs or lab reports.

        Since myDoc.lk merely connects consumers with individual laboratories, myDoc.lk bears no obligation for the costs and prices of the mobile lab and lab reports.

        It is always advised to deliver valid lab tests or doctor-prescribed lab tests, and myDoc.lk accepts no responsibility for verifying the prescriptions or lab test requests sent by clients.

 

Restrictions on Usage Terms and Condition

By using myDoc.lk, you understand and accept that you are not permitted to use it for any of the following purposes:

        Any unlawful, harassing, libelous, defamatory, abusive, threatening, hurtful, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, pedophilic, racially and ethnically offensive, or otherwise undesirable material.

        To transmit anything that encourages criminal behavior, results in legal liability, or otherwise violates any applicable laws, rules, or codes of practice.

        To host, display, upload, change, publish, transmit, update, or disseminate any information on myDoc.lk that belongs to myDoc.lk or a third party and over which you have no legal authority.

        To cause harm to youngsters in any way.

        To falsify or mislead the addressee about the origin of any message, or to transmit any material that is grossly insulting or menacing in nature.

        To mimic someone else.

        Using software viruses, corrupt data, or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to disrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer resource, including myDoc.lk

        To endanger Sri Lanka's unity, integrity, defense, security, or sovereignty, cordial relations with other nations, or public order, or to instigate the commission of any cognizable offense, or to obstruct the investigation of any offense, or to insult any other nation

        To violate or attempt to violate myDoc.lk's or its content's integrity or security.

        To send any information (including job postings, communications, and hyperlinks) on or through myDoc.lk that is disruptive or competitive to our service provision.

        To purposefully submit incomplete, fraudulent, or inaccurate information on myDoc.lk

        To utilize myDoc.lk to send unsolicited communications to other myDoc.lk users

        To navigate or search myDoc.lk using any engine, program, tool, agent, or other device or mechanism (such as spiders, robots, avatars, or intelligent agents).

        To replicate or reproduce any of the content on myDoc.lk in any way; and to engage in framing, hot linking, or deep linking any of the information on myDoc.lk.

        Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to access the site or its services.

        Unless otherwise indicated in writing, you may only use services for personal and non-commercial purposes.

        Copy, reverse engineer, reverse assemble, or otherwise seek to discover the source code of any information, software, products, or services received through the site or the services; distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any such information, software, products, or service           Any author attributions, legal notices, or proprietary designations or markings should be removed.

        Use the site or services for any purpose prohibited by these terms and conditions or to violate any applicable local, national, or international law, rule, or regulation.

        Use framing or similar navigational technology to manipulate or otherwise display the site or the services.

        Register, subscribe, or unsubscribe any party for any myDoc.lk service unless expressly allowed to do so by such party.

        Use the site or the services in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair myDoc.lk's systems or networks, or interfere with the use and enjoyment of the site and/or the services by any other user.

        By hacking, password mining, or any other means, obtain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any of the sites, services, accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to myDoc.lk.

        Access or attempt to access any items or information not expressly made available through the site or the services, or harvest or otherwise gather information about other users without their permission.

        Use the site in any way that could harm, discredit, or otherwise harm myDoc.lk.

        Furthermore, COPYING OR REPRODUCING ANY SERVICES, PROGRAMS, PRODUCTS, INFORMATION, OR MATERIALS PROVIDED BY myDoc.lk TO ANY OTHER SERVER OR LOCATION FOR FURTHER REPRODUCTION OR REDISTRIBUTION IS EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED.
